January 1, 2008 Happy New Year!
Welcome to the twenty-first century, year eight. I am proud to announce, as a man of the twenty-first century, that as of January 1, 2008 Observation of the Day will be available as a blog, Looking for Nirvana. (lookingfornirvana.blogspot.com) Bookmark it.
Looking for Nirvana will contain some Observations of the Day, some previously written pieces from my past writings (Many of my friends have not read my previous astute comments), soap box opinions which may irritate you, news items that caught my attention, songs I enjoy, lyrics and poems I come across, and other miscellaneous stuff. Looking for Nirvana will be original, not forwarded stuff from the Internet. My son, Tim, will check in every once in a while. I am sure you will enjoy his posts.
You will be alerted via email, (sometimes?) that there is a new posting ,or you may check in any time. You will be able to comment with a click on comments. I hope you enjoy my observations of life, while looking for Nirvana.
For verification of my credentials as a man of the twenty-first century, I have an IPOD, an IPHONE, an APPLE laptop, and a BLOG. I operate none of them well, therefore, I am in reality still a man of the twentieth century trying to be cool.
